Now, I think I would
score myself the same, because I don’t feel that I’ve improved enough to change
my scores, but I do feel a difference overall.
There is a sense of calm that wasn’t there before, a sense that I have
the power to change negative to positive when I need to.
My goals are to become
more physically fit, cultivate a calm, peaceful mind and to maintain my relationship
with God. I would like to incorporate
yoga into my schedule but I haven’t had a chance to yet. There are opportunities daily to practice
having a calm mind. Prayer and
meditation on God’s word is already a part of my life.
This course has been a
big step outside of my comfort zone. Each
exercise has had a degree of difficulty, and I think that’s to be expected with
something new. I can’t say that this is
something that I would be helping someone else with, and at this point I don’t
see how this will fit into my career choice, but I can be open enough to assist
clients find the right option for them.
Brenda,
ReplyDeleteI think it is fantastic that you were able to step outside of your comfort zone. Cultivating change can be a hard thing to do. When doing so attitude, belief and habits need to be changed in order to achieve goals. Nobody is going to do it for us. It is ours job to find a way to achieve our goals.
Best of luck to you!
Hi Brenda,
ReplyDeleteI think it's wonderful that you were able to discover a sense of calm and feel the power to change negative to positive. Given that these practices and information was realitively new, the changes you state are significant. I think we all can relate to the improvements you stated in wanting to be more physically fit, a calmer mind and a closer relationship with our higher power.
You may not be able to use the teaching from the course with your clients directly, more important is that you keep using them for your own peace and wellness, mind, body and spirit.
Peace and Blessings to you Sa Mut Angela Scott/Mama Yoga.
Hi Brenda!
ReplyDeleteI am in the same boat as you with my scores. I rated myself the same but only because I do not think I have improved enough to change the scores but there is a general difference in my life with being more aware of my integral health. I wish you nothing but the very best in your life and studies!!
